WHAT IS JRI-POLAND MEMBERSHIP
Access to the JRI-Poland database is free for everyone—simply create an account to start searching. However, a registered user is not a Member.
An “Annual Member” is a person who donates for this purpose. Donations to Projects and Towns do not count towards Membership.
Complementary one-year membership is offered to any person who donates a total of $1000 or more in one calendar year. Complementary membership without expiry date is offered to any person who donates a total of $15,000 or more during their lifetime of giving to JRI-Poland.

Membership is $54/year

My Workspace
“My Workspace” feature is exclusive to active members. It is a space
where members can view collections of various elements (Towns, Projects, Records and Sources) that the user has favorited (bookmarked, hearted) for easy recall. This workspace also displays towns recently viewed by the member, even if they did not favorite the town. A future feature of this Workspace is expected to allow the member to save custom comments about why the favorited item is/was of interest to the user.
Download Pre-1826 Data Spreadsheets
JRI-Poland has developed a collection of data from early historical records that may be invaluable in identifying earlier ancestors. These are:
- Civil Registers (1808–1826): Mixed Jewish and non-Jewish records from the Duchy of Warsaw and Congress Poland.
- 1700s Censuses: Comprehensive data from the Austro-Hungarian Empire and the Grand Duchy of Lithuania.
Active JRI-Poland members may download these spreadsheets in their entirety to facilitate working with this early data which may have sparse or no surnames and require additional effort to decipher and use.
