Copies of these records are available from the Polish State Archives.
The first towns to be indexed in the Katowice archives project are Będzin and Sosnowiec Indexing of other towns cannot start until an Archive Coordinator has been appointed. If you would like to volunteer for the Archive Coordinator responsibility, you are invited to contact JRI-Poland Executive Director, Stanley Diamond at SMSDiamond@aol.com.
See the Project Status page for the current fundraising status of the Będzin and Sosnowiec projects in the Katowice archives project.
