Indices for previously unavailable records

The goal of the Jewish Records Indexing - Poland milestone agreement with the Polish State Archives is to index all Jewish vital records more than 100 years old in the Polish State Archives that are not included in the microfilm collection of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints (the Mormons). Copies of these records are available from the Polish State Archives.

Information on the Grodzisk Mazowiecki project:

Indexing is proceeding on an archive by archive basis and data entry is underway on the Jewish vital records for the towns in the Grodzisk Mazowiecki branch of the Polish State Archives.

After fundraising for each town has been completed and the data has been processed, it will become available on-line. See the Project Status page for the current status of the fundraising for the towns in the Grodzisk Mazowiecki project.

The Nowy Dwór Mazowiecki and Rawa Mazowiecka Archives were closed in 2001. All holdings for towns previously located in these archives have been transferred to the new modern archive branch in Grodzisk Mazowiecki. New fond numbers have been assigned to the registers and they are shown below.
